Vermicelli Rice


  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp. Vermicelli Noodles
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Oil


  1. Soak the rice for 20-30 minutes in hot water, then rinse well and drain.

  2. Heat the oil in the pan and brown the vermicelli.

  3. Add the rice and salt and stir the rice for a few seconds.

  4. Add the water and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

  5. Let water reduce to below the rice level, then lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
