Garlic Shrimp with Pasta
1 1/2 lb uncooked shrimps, rinsed, peeled and de-veined
1 lb Angel hair pasta
4 - 6 cloves garlic
4 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp. olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp. cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes, optional
1 tbsp. lemon juice, or to taste
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, stir in the finely chopped or crushed garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in the shrimps, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Stir in half the chopped parsley.
Add some of the pasta cooking water and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Add the pasta and lemon juice to the shrimp mixture and lightly toss to mix.
Garnish with the remaining chopped parsley and serve.
