Shish Kabobs


  • 2.25 lb Sirloin Steaks, cut into 1" cubes
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup canola or olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Arabic Seven Spice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Bell peppers and onions cut into 1" pieces


  1. Mix the lemon juice, oil, minced garlic, pepper and 7spice mix.

  2. Cut the steaks into 1" cubes and place in a resealable plastic bag.  Pour the marinade over the beef and refrigerate for 4 - 6 hours or overnight.

  3. Thread the beef cubes and vegetables alternately onto the skewers.

  4. Broil in the oven on high or cook on the grill until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
