3 Romaine hearts
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp. honey
1 cup crumbled Roquefort, Gorgonzola or Blue cheese
1 cup toasted almonds, walnuts or pecans
1 cup tart apples, cored and diced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Cut or tear the lettuce into 2 inch pieces.
In a large salad bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, honey, salt and pepper.
Add lettuce, apples, almonds and cheese and toss well.
