Chinese Chicken Balls
Ingredients
1.25 lb (500gr) Ground Chicken
2 - 3 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
1 cup fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp. coriander powder
1 tsp. salt, adjust to taste
1/2 tsp. white pepper or cayenne pepper
4 tbsp. corn starch - adjust as needed
Dipping Sauce
4 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp. green chili, finely chopped
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Directions
Mix the ground chicken, sweet chili sauce, chopped fresh cilantro, coriander powder, salt and white or cayenne pepper. Shape the chicken mixture into balls then dip in corn starch. Deep fry the chicken balls until golden brown.
Prepare the Dipping Sauce:
In a small mixing bowl, mix the dipping sauce ingredients together.
Serve hot with dipping sauce.
