Fried Cauliflower in Tahini Sauce


  • 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 6 tbsp. tahini paste
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Water (as needed)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Oil for frying the cauliflower


  1. Fry the cauliflower florets.

  2. In a bowl, mix the tahini paste with the lemon juice.  Add the water gradually (one tablespoon at a time) and mix well until you get a thick sauce.  Stir in the minced garlic and salt and mix.

  3. Add the fried cauliflower to the tahini sauce and gently toss to coat.

  4. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.

  5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
