Servings: 4 - 6
1 1/2 lb shredded beef
1 - 2 tbsp. canola or vegetable oil
12 oz sliced mushrooms
6 oz sliced onions
1 1/4 cup sour cream
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Cut the beef into strips and season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet, and cook the beef.
When the beef is done, remove from the skillet and saute the onions, adding more oil if needed.
Stir in the mushrooms and cook with the onions.
Stir in the beef again.
Five minutes before serving add the sour cream and heat. The sour cream should be room temperature or it will curdle.
Serve with white rice or noodles.
